Video Girls

You've seen them in your favorite video. You've seen them in magazines. They're called video models, but also known as video hoes. Don't you hate it when your favorite songs finally gets a video, but when you see it you're digested? That's happened to me a million times. Yesterday I was watching the video 'Ay Dj' by Jibbs and Lloyd on 106&Park. The video started off good, had Lloyd singing, Jibbs rapping and your typical video models in the background. About a minute into the video the lead video model comes out. She's dressed in this nice dress and her hair is pretty. I remember seeing the girl in another video last week. When the girl turns to the side I noticed she has a big butt now. I thought back to last week and remembered that the same girl I had just seen didn't have a big butt in that video. That brings me too my next point. Who's real and who's fake, but we'll get into that in the another blog. Anyways, I know people put video models in their videos to complete it, but some videos just don't need them. I remember back in the 90s most video girls had to be half naked or sleep with somebody just to be in a video. Take Karrine Steffans for example. She's a pretty woman, but she just use too much of what she's got to get where she is now. If you have the looks and the body then you should use those, but don't be nasty and fuck around with the artist, his homeboys, security guards or whoever else is around. Have respect for yourself. Don't do something you know you wouldn't do. I've always wanted to be in videos when I was younger, but when I read 'Confessions Of A Video Vixen' that just changed my mind completely. I understand that sometimes sleeping around can get you further in the industry, but why tell the world about it? What you do behind closed doors should stay there. Just like they say 'What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas!'
